Our Executive Team:

Richard Daiker, President ~ Mr. Daiker manages the firm’s financial operations.

As the founding principal of K&S Insurance Agency, Mr. Daiker has played a key role in growing the company from a sole proprietor to its current status as one of the largest commercial insurance providers in the state of Texas. Although he stays busy with the firm’s leadership, Mr. Daiker also still services a book of long-time, loyal clients dating back to his days as the business’s only owner. Mr. Daiker is a graduate of Indiana University who brings nearly 40 years of industry experience to his leadership of the K&S family. He’s an active member or leader of the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce, the Associated General Contractors of Texas, the Independent Insurance Agents of Texas, and the National Association of Surety Bond Producers.

Tony Fierro, Vice-President ~ Mr. Fierro is responsible for new business and the K&S sales team.

University of North Texas alumni Tony Fierro joined the K&S team in 1999 following a two year stint in the finance industry. Besides serving as the firm’s sales manager, Mr. Fierro heads up the K&S team responsible for providing excellent customer service for each client’s insurance and surety needs. Mr. Fierro is a Certified Insurance Counselor, the industry’s leading designation for experienced professionals who have completed a rigorous education and examination program. He is currently on the board of K&S Group, Inc. and also an active member/leader of Lake Pointe Church (including the church’s youth sports ministry program), the Associated General Contractors of both Dallas and El Paso, the Hispanic Contractors Associations of Dallas/Ft. Worth, and the National Association of Surety Bond Producers. In addition, Mr. Fierro serves on the American National Bank Rockwall Community Development Board and the University of North Texas Program Advisory Council for Finance (PACF).

Johnny Moss, Secretary/Treasurer ~ Mr. Moss is responsible for new business and also serves as the firm’s personnel chief.

After graduating from Texas Tech University, Mr. Moss went to work for CNA Surety as a bond underwriter until he joined K&S in 2002.  Besides managing K&S human resources, he is also a leader of the firm’s new business team and is responsible for providing each insurance and surety client with exceptional client service. Mr. Moss was a founding board member of the current Young Construction Council at AGC in Dallas.  He is currently an active member/leader in the Association of General Contractors & National Association of Surety Bond Producers.  He is also a member at Lake Point Church.

John D. Marek, Vice-President ~ Mr. Marek is responsible for new business and sales management.

A specialist in manufacturing, wholesale, retail and construction, Mr. Marek’s industry experience dates back to the early 1990s when he began working for a local agency as an account representative following his graduation from UT-Arlington. He’s earned designations as both a Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Manager. Mr. Marek is the past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas, a leading industry professional group. He’s also an active member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors.

Gary Thompson, Vice-President ~ Mr. Thompson manages the firm’s marketing department.

Mr. Thompson is a 37 year insurance industry veteran who is responsible for overseeing the agency’s marketing and insurance carrier relations. Besides marketing, he also has experience in risk management and commercial underwriting. Mr. Thompson earned his MBA from East Texas State University and has been with the agency for over 26 years.
