Mistie began her career in the surety industry in 1998 with Reliance Insurance Company in Dallas, TX.  Reliance merged with Travelers Insurance Company where Mistie continued her professional development as a Construction Underwriter until late 2008 before she moved to the agency side and worked for another local agency as their Surety Manager.  She joined the K&S team in June of 2011.  Besides managing the bond department, she is passionate about providing superior customer service and developing agency/client relationships.  Mistie is an active member of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers and the Dallas Surety Association.  She and her husband, Jim are proud grandparents of Weston and Brooklyn.  Outside of work, they enjoy target shooting, bicycling, and travels to Colorado.
