Robert completed an MBA in Finance in 1997. After a brief venture with the PGA, he joined an insurance agency and learned the surety business. Mr. Shuya was the CFO at a large construction conglomerate where he gained invaluable construction experience. Mr. Shuya has been a construction specialist for K&S Insurance since 2007. He enjoys providing creative insurance solutions and solving surety bond issues for his commercial clients.

Robert has obtained the insurance industry professional designations of Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Risk Manager. He is an active member of the Society of Certified Insurance Counsel.
