Mr. Marek is a Certified Risk Manager and enjoys helping clients protect their assets. His areas of expertise include manufacturing, wholesale distribution, and construction/surety.

Mr. Marek is a past president of the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas and also represented Region 17 at the State level for IMPACT, a lobby group that helps promote fair and reasonable legislation to protect insurance buyers.

John graduated from the University of Texas Arlington where he was an all-conference player for the 1990 championship baseball team. He and his wife, Gina, are members of the First United Methodist Church in Rockwall and also support the South Dallas County fellowship of Christian Athletes. John enjoys spending time with family, fishing, golfing, and following the Dallas Cowboys.
